Title: Senior Enterprise Software Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Understand business requirement, design technical solution, estimate implementation efforts, get technical design approval from solution review board.
- Demonstrate clear, concise, accurate and timely communication to peers, management and customers in written and oral form.
- Proactively contribute to address known issues and to come-up with ideas to optimize design/code
- Work on development tasks and RCA as per project needs
- Troubleshoot, develop and tune ETL processes
- Document all ETL related work per company’s methodology.
- Build, review and analyze the ETL requirements.
- Design, develop, implement and assist in validating ETL processes.
- Strong analytical skills; able to apply inductive and deductive thinking to generate solutions for complex problems.
- Excellent understanding of database, structures, theories and practices.
Required experience:
- Education: Required: Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field.
- Preferred: Master’s Degree in Computer Science
- Experience: Total IT around 6-8 years with at-least last 6 years in Informatica power center.
- Strong understanding of Data warehousing concepts, Data Architecture, ETL & Reporting concepts.
- Strong SQL development skills. Should be able to write complex SQLs.
- Good understanding on SQL analytical functions.
- Tune long running ETL jobs / SQL queries.
- Develop mappings to populate target data according to the requirement.
- Create various active and passive transformations to support voluminous loading of data target table using Informatica PowerCenter.
- High proficiency with Oracle functions, procedures, triggers, packages and performance tuning of SQLs, application programs.
- Deep understanding of RDBMS (Oracle, DB2, MySQL or SQL Server) concepts, including data modeling, database design, SQL performance tuning, SDLC processes and tools, agile program management concepts.
- Good hands-on experience on Linux commands.
