Wolters Kluwer Looking for Manager, Purchasing & Procurement (CoE Lead) at Kalyani, West Bengal Full Time

This position is a high-visibility position with both internal customers and the external suppliers. The Center of Excellence, part of our Global Business Services divisions supports our worldwide sourcing and procurement activities. Activities managed within the CoE are procurement, contract administration, deal support, reporting & analytics and tooling support & administration.

The role will require to manage the entire Requisition to Pay cycle of operations, which would include Procurement Operations, service helpdesk and Contract administration. The role would additionally require the individual to be the site lead to support all other functions under the COE umbrella.

• Manage the overall CoE related day to day operations

• Manage two key functional operations and the associated teams within: Procurement Operations & Contract administration to deliver against deadlines and quality standards

• This role will include two direct reports both handling Procurement and Contract administration respectively

• Ensure that procurement processes and methodologies are efficient, continuously improved and complied to
• Monitor and manage business performance results to ensure that savings is properly captured, reported and integrated in procurement budget
• Ensure that process and application improvements/changes are communicated and implemented on a Company level efficiently and effectively
• Facilitate two-way communications between operational resources, Strategic Sourcing and Procurement operations and build consensus under formal and informal settings
• Refine/develop operational resource performance objectives, metrics, processes and goals to support Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Key Process Indicators (KPI)
• Drive continuous improvement activities (team charter, project plan, communication, project list, steering committee and financial tracking) to support yearly budget and individual program targets
• Ensure team members acquire necessary skills and performance attributes needed for operations and personal development
