A GM’s role is pivotal since they are the face and spokesperson of our Company. He shall be leading the entire strategy for Sales & Business Development. This will involve understanding what market opportunity the Company is looking for revenue growth. He will also be responsible for driving growth and expansion through strategic partnerships, product development, market analysis, and client relations. The person should be excited by selling into new markets, strategizing next steps, negotiating complex deals, and beating the competition in head-to-head opportunities. He will nurture existing partnerships and play an important role in shaping the W9Y partnership strategy in the international markets. He will be able to work across all business units, demonstrating a strong bias for action.

Responsibilities

– Develop and implement strategies to grow the e-commerce business.
– Figure out new customer segments to be targeted and how the company should go about it.
– Build strong relationships with the vendors.
– Accountable for eCommerce P&L including understanding key performance indicators, ensuring business hits targets, and pulling appropriate levers to drive sales.
– Establish performance targets and business metrics to drive growth.
– Lead all aspects of the eCommerce Platform, including product vision, strategic roadmap prioritization, metrics and operations.
– Collaborate with business partners to develop product roadmap initiatives that span Marketing, Merchandising, Pricing & Promotions, Shipping & Fulfillment, Customer Service and Data Analytics.
– Define eCommerce strategy for high volume, growing business that will increase market share and revenue in the long and short term.

Qualifications and Experience

– CA / MBA
– 12+ years of industry related experience
– Track record of negotiating complex strategic partnership agreements or corporate transactions.
– Experience creating and analyzing business development processes for a wide variety of transactions.
