Tata Steel Looking for Manager Sales Cement – Graphene Business at Kolkata, West Bengal, India Full Time

Purpose of the Job

• Graphene business has identified Graphene in Ready Mix Concrete as a key market, with special focus on concrete Admixtuers. The role is to help stabilize the sales for the established products and develop channels for increasing sales of those products. Key markets identified are industrial sales to Ready Mix Concrete Manufactures. The stated objective is to be able to streamline and create a new category of products for the customers and be able to deliver a value of Rs 200 Crs by FY 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Implement sales objectives by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue and expense control
• Meet monthly, quarterly and annual planned sales goals
• Meet existing customers to generate enquiry and service their requirements
• Meet potential customers and develop them as regular buyers of our products
• Track sales goals, preparing MIS and report results on an ongoing basis
• Attend customer service issues and requirements and deliver prompt actions to minimise customer discontent and maximise customer satisfaction
• Get feedback from customer and loop with marketing and product development team
• Implement customer activations and market mapping in close coordination with Marketing Team
• Visit manufacturing unit as necessary to gain technical knowledge, understand production cycle, inventory control, delivery schedules, testing processes, new product development for effective management of sales and service delivery to the customers
• Actively monitor customer wise outstanding and make proactive follow up to collect the same within the credit period

Skills

Technical Competencies

• Understanding of construction industry and architects
• Understanding of selling special formulations Construction Admixtures
• Ability to conceive of productivity increase projects
• Flair for marketing a new product

Experience in – M&S, Sales of Cement , Admixtures

Other Details

Degree in Engineering or equivalent/MBA, MBA in Marketing & Sales is preferable from AICTE/UGC recognized institutes
