People Power Client Looking for Mice Operations at Kalighat, Kolkata, West Bengal Full Time

This position is responsible for arranging all MICE operations and RFP preparation, working with the sales team/manager for domestic and international MICE proposals.

Responsibilities also include destination research, developing ideas to increase business, and creating promotional ideas to expose our product and services to clients.

Essential Functions:

– Conduct overall group operations including proposal preparation, manifest creation, cost management, and air and land arrangements.
– Conduct thorough financial management for MICE operations to maximize revenue.
– Co-ordination and Arrangement of airline reservations, hotels, and other travel related arrangements for MICE customers.
– Serve as tour escort as needed.
– Plan and conduct site inspections for potential venues for MICE business.
– Assist Sales Manager with sales activities and operations.
– Maintain strong working relationships with clients being serviced or new to company business target corporates
– Maintain strong working relationship with DMCs, Hotel Chains, transport providers, Tourism Boards and attractions.
– Participate in outbound group/incentive sales strategy and outreach

Candidate must have minimum 1-10 years of past experience in a reputed travel company in the MICE operations profile. Candidate must have good oral and written communication and inter personal skills. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PPT, Word) is a must. Destination training / Expert certifications from Tourism boards would be favourable to the application.

Salary: ₹20,000.00 – ₹40,000.00 per month
