Job Title: Interior Designer
Educational Qualification: Degree/Diploma in Architecture/Interior Designing
Experience: 1 to 3 yrs
Knowledge and Skills Required : An energetic, dynamic personality, target oriented, with business sensibility. They have to have experience in selling and decorating spaces. Appreciation of the fabindia aesthetic, and how to decorate a space using the same is important. Knowledge of MS Excel, Photoshop, Sketch Up.
Job Responsibilities :
To achieve sales & execution targets for Interior Design Studio
Identify / understand potential customers / clients and sell customer solution
To handle and understand customers & their requirement.
Assist customers on the floor as the Interior Expert at the studio
Exploring new channels to build business and achieve targets
Develop lay out & design options for customers as per requirements.
Formulate design which is aesthetically in sync with Fabindia’s sensibility, using Fabindia merchandise.
Draw up floor plans and sketches as required by customers.
Use computer-aided design (CAD) to create drawings.
Plan and estimate budgets as per customer’s requirement.
Coordinate with vendors and other stakeholders on time lines & timely execution of IDS Projects to meet customers /client’s demands.
To ensure superior customer service provided at all times
Work with Fabindia Customers to offer customization & design consultancy for their spaces.
Advise on customization of blinds, curtains , furniture & supervise if required
Use existing range of Fabindia home linen and other home and lifestyle products to develop design options and meet customer / client expectation.
Supervise assistants (upholsterer, polisher etc. ) who execute the customization and perform required administrative tasks.
Follow up with customers to build long term relationship.
Work in synergy with the store team (team members) & other partners to develop new business.
To ensure that various reports are provided as per the timelines, daily, weekly, fortnightly and monthly
To ensure store is looking appealing at all times.
Good understanding of Social Media, eg: Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram
