The opportunity

As a Business Tester, you will be accountable & responsible to Prepare test scenario, test scripts based on the project requirements. Execute functional and regression test cases. Report the defects in tracking tool and ensure its closure through STLC process. Involve in review meetings and walk through meetings. Candidate should have knowledge on Banking/Investment Banking/Capital Markets/Finance domains. Added advantage to have knowledge on Broadridge technology.

Skills And Attributes For Success

• Experience in Investment Banking/Capital Markets/Wealth and Asset Management with hands on experience in CRD (Charles River Development) application, API and Functional automation testing
• Understanding the entire modules and their functionality by verifying the Functional Specification and Style guide issued by the client.
• Able to write and execute the Test Cases for Functional Testing.
• Able to automate end to end functional business workflows
• API automation experience using Rest API/POSTMAN and other market tools
• Knowledge on SQL, Relational Database and ETL validations
• Maintaining the Bug Reports and delivery Note details.
• Involved in Peer-Review of the test cases, Sanity Testing, Smoke Testing, Regression Testing, System Testing and User Acceptances Testing.
• Organizing, monitoring defect management process
• Attend status calls as needed to report on testing progress

To qualify for the role, you must have

• BE/BTech/MCA/M.Sc.
• 2 -3 years of UAT/Business testing experience in Investment Banking/Capital Markets/Wealth and Asset Management with hands on experience in CRD (Charles River Development) application, API and Functional automation testing.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Should have excellent communication skills & should be able to articulate concisely & clearly
• Good experience in API automation, Functional Automation, SQL queries and knowledge on Sybase database application
• Should be ready to do an individual contributor
• Created QA Strategy and test approach from scratch, Articulates value
